The Challenge

Social platforms were primarily used to achieve the organization’s mission. However, content accessibility & restrictions were a major concern. Hence, our client wanted to create an online space that let the “Kingdom honoring voices”–speakers, preachers & organizations who honor the word of Christ to come forward & publish their content. Eventually, OTT was found to be the best choice to bring our client’s mission to life to let people embrace the right to free expression, considering its accessibility by a wide audience across the globe. The Solution

An exclusive OTT platform for spiritual content was customized. On VPlayed’s default VOD & LIVE solution with secure 4K streaming, an Organization Management (Referral Management) workflow was included as requested. Furthermore, an option to special screen a live stream only to a specific set of audience with legit access was also custom-added. We also integrated 3rd party service add-on to offer a rich viewer experience & seamless streaming across Web, Android, iOS, Apple TV, Android TV, Firestick TV, LG TV and Samsung TV apps from VPlayed.

With regards to monetization, a recurring revenue stream with subscriptions to viewer access on-demand & live streaming content was incorporated into the apps with Stripe as the payment gateway for secure & seamless transactions.

The Results

Very soon after the spiritual OTT was launched, more & more creators started partnering with our client to stream the word of God. Over 7K+ videos were published hassle-free to a global audience, unifying over 100K+ recurring subscribers in a matter of months.
